Blank Space

This work explores spaces in the city and the body’s interaction with those spaces, focussing on the anonymity of a body in the city. I aimed to capture fleeting moments without exaggerating their permanence.

As we share physical space in the city it’s intriguing how rarely our bodies come into contact and how hard it is to get a full perception of someone sharing your physical space.

Each space I photographed is unique but unremarkable and predictable, and our interactions within them are shallow and routine.
